As the city of Strongsville considers whether to build a roundabout at Howe and Shurmer roads near SouthPark Mall, residents are questioning whether this is the best way to improve traffic flow and safety at the busy three-way intersection. About 150 roundabouts have been constructed across Ohio, including over the past few years in Twinsburg, North Ridgeville/Avon and several in Medina County.

After a rough start, things just keep looking up for 12-year-old Reginald "Reggie" Fields, the boy who had the cops called on him while mowing a lawn in Maple Heights. About two weeks ago, Reggie and his friends were mowing the lawn of neighbor Lucille Holt when they accidently cut a portion of the next-door neighbors' grass.

Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced recently the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio are now involved in reviewing information into the recent cancellation of school field trips by Discovery Tours. According to Walsh, Discovery Tours, based in Mayfield Village, coordinated educational tours to several destinations for schools throughout Ohio, including to Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
